Welcome Carson Joseph!

On Saturday, December 15th, Jaeger's cousin and new best friend, was born. Here is a little clip of Jaeger singing to Carson welcoming him into the world. The tune is that of "All I want for Christmas are my two front teeth." (Excuse the photo quality it was recorded on my phone)

Our First Family Christmas Photo

Well it's not the best of any of us but hey, it's the first official Christmas photo so I have to share. The three of us attended my work Children's Holiday Party and Jaeger got to meet Santa for the first time. He was a little unprepared and didn't have his list of toys together but Santa said he knew what he wanted anyway.

Jaeger has been great so far letting mommy get pictures of him. He had a good time for the most part at the shoot but he had to stop and have a lunch break in the middle.

I am a Quarter of a year old! ( AKA 3 months)

Well it doesn't appear that I have gotten better at updating his blog but I must add his newest 3 month old picture. Turns out that turning 3 months was so exciting to Jaeger that he rolled over and slept through the night all on the same day. Of course, he was at Oma and Opa's (Grandma and Grandpa in German) house for the night so Mommy and Daddy didn't get to experience it. However, Mommy did get to see him roll over earlier that day.

Jaeger is very excited about Halloween this week. He wants to scare the neighborhood kids with his daddy. Since this is one of Daddy's favorite holidays...he can't wait to experience it for himself. He is having trouble deciding which of his two costumes he will wear so stay tuned later this week for pics!

I am 2 months old now!

It's hard to believe it has been two months since Jaeger was born. The time has flown by despite the lack of sleep and hundreds of diapers. But we aren't complaining, he is the most amazing thing that has happened to us and we wouldn't change a thing!

At his 2 month appointment, he now weighs 12.4 lbs. He has gained 4 whole pounds already! He now has good strength in his neck to hold is head. He smiles and coos all the time and has even begun swatting at and grasping some toys.

Jaeger goes to the beach

On Labor Day, Jaeger had his first afternoon at the beach. It was pretty breezy so he sat under the umbrella that Daddy worked hard at setting up to sit with Mommy and watch the waves.

Jaeger's first trip out for Crabs!

As a true Marylander, Jaeger recently ventured out to eat crabs with Mommy and Daddy at the beach. As we sat there with crab spice on our hands, we we thrilled to discover that he would sleep through the entire meal in the extremely loud restaurant. He even slept through our trip to Dairy Queen afterwards!

Jaeger Gustav Franz has arrived!

On Wednesday, July 25th at 3:30AM--Jaeger Gustav Franz was born at Anne Arundel Medical Center. After 17 hours of labor he was born via c-section. He weighed 8lbs 4oz and was 20.4 inches long. Mommy and Daddy are thrilled with their new little man.
